Podcast Series Begins Monday 1/23/17


A funny thing happened to baby boomers on the way to retirement: Many realized they 
couldn't afford, or didn't want, to retire. Whether it's for financial reasons or a chance to try something new, more baby boomers are embarking on an encore career—a second professional act that can bring in not only money but often the fulfillment that may have been lacking the first time around the career bend.

The Successful Encore Career Podcast, presented by Employment For Seniors, will provide you the inspiration and tools to move into your next career.  We'll talk with adults who have made the encore career change, whether to a new company, a new career path, or struck it out on their own as an entrepreneur.  We will also pass along necessary skill building tools that you will need to bring this change to your career.

The podcast series begins on Monday January 23rd, 2017, with two new podcasts available.  You can subscribe on your preferred podcast player, as well as YouTube.

Employment For Seniors joining forces with Age Friendly Columbus Initiative Employment For Seniors is proud to be part of the Age Friendly Columbus Initiative , coordinated through the MidOhio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) and  sponsored by: World Health Organization ,  Osteopathic Heritage Foundations ,  National Church Residences ,  Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging ,  AARP ,  The Columbus Foundation , Franklin County Office on Aging and  The Ohio State University’s College of Social Work .
